bicycle ergometers for over 50 years, constantly improving accuracy,
durability and overall quality. Lode ergometers are produced under the most
stringent quality control conditions feasible. Lode is ISO9011 and EN46001
certified and fulfills the EU medical device directive 93 / 42 / EEC. Accuracy in measurement is standard in all Lode ergometers. Before leaving the factory the ergometers will have an extensive dynamic calibration. The calibration values are stored on file under the serial number of the ergometer. The ergometer calibrated with this method is stable over a long time, more accurate realistic and reliable in the total workload and rpm range. Every possible value of a rpm independent ergometer ranging from 30 to 120 rpm can be checked with an accuracy of 0.05 Nm to guarantee the accuracy in performing stress test. The highly specialized calibrating equipment is manufactured by Lode, and certified (according to PTB) to perform dynamic calibrations. Over the years service costs and time are almost negligible.
